Q. Who can buy a home?
A. You must be 18 years old and understand and agree that you have
a serious interest in buying the property when you make an offer on a property.
Q. How do I preview the property?
A. On RealtySpace.com there are 3 easy ways to preview property:
- View the slideshow photos on the property details page.
- Contact the seller directly through our internal message system to schedule a
private showing.
- Attend an Open House held by the owner.
Q. Who can answer questions I have regarding the property?
A. Simply contact the seller through our internal message system
for answers to your specific questions.
Q. Do I need to be "pre-qualified" with a lender in order
to make an offer?
A. No. It will probably make your closing go faster, but it is
not required.
Q. Can I inspect the property?
A. Yes, you are encouraged to inspect the property and do any and
all research necessary for your purchase.
Q. If my offer is accepted, what happens next?
A. You will be sent an email confirming your offer was accepted
and PAL (Purchase Assistance Links) to resources that can assist you in the purchase
and closing of your new property. These links are also located on the My RealtySpace
page and include state specific real estate related forms, title companies, mortgage
lenders, inspection companies, and real estate attorneys.
Q. What are the terms of the sale?
A. Terms of sale are set by the seller and displayed on the property
details page.
Q. When will my closing take place?
A. The closing will take place on the day that you and the seller
agree.
Q. What kind of property is listed on RealtySpace.com?
A. RealtySpace.com lists all kinds of real estate, including but
not limited to single family homes, condos, townhouses, villas, vacant land, commercial
and income property.
Q. Is there a minimum offer or reserve price?
A. There is never a disclosed reserve price, although the Seller
has the right to accept or reject any offer.
Q. Does the seller have to accept my offer?
A. No, the seller is under no obligation to accept any offer; but
most sellers will accept a reasonable offer.
Q. How long is the property listing active?
A. A property listing is active for 30 days unless the seller has
sold their property or it becomes inactive because the seller has cancelled their
listing.
